Job Description
Ataavi Bird Foundation is a non-profit and a CSR initiative of Zycus, focused on inspiring people, especially youth to reconnect with nature through birdwatching, citizen science, and conservation awareness. Through bird walks, college chapters, outreach events, and a mobile app, Ataavi is building a vibrant community of young nature enthusiasts across India.

We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing, and creative individual who can expand Ataavi’s outreach across cities and campuses. As a Management Trainee / Intern, your focus will be on launching new college chapters, initiating bird walks in new cities, onboarding local bird guides, and driving innovative promotion of the Ataavi app.

Note: This role is coordination and outreach-focused and does not involve fieldwork like long hours in forests or bird monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and onboard new colleges for Ataavi student chapters
  • Engage local birders and nature clubs to initiate bird walks in new regions
  • Recruit and coordinate with bird guides and community volunteers
  • Promote the Ataavi app through creative campaigns, events, and partnerships
  • Plan and execute fun, educational outreach efforts (competitions, challenges, webinars)
  • Track and report outreach activities and growth across chapters and cities
Job Requirement
  • Recent graduates or final-year students in Zoology, Environmental Studies, Life Sciences, Mass Communication, or related fields
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and at least one regional language
  • Self-driven and comfortable initiating conversations and partnerships
  • Interest in birds, nature, or sustainability
  • Experience with student clubs, social campaigns, or outreach is a plus
