The Associate Vice President – Professional Services will be responsible for all projects for the US region, ensuring the successful delivery of enterprise SaaS solutions on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role owns program governance, delivery excellence, portfolio oversight, and resource allocation across the Project Management and Business Analyst teams. The AVP will collaborate closely with the Head of Consulting and other senior leaders to ensure seamless execution between Project Managers, Program Managers, Business Analysts, and Implementation Consultants, driving exceptional client outcomes and operational efficiency.
What Youʼll Do:
· Team & Capability
· Build, mentor, and uplevel Project/Program Managers and Business Analysts; set role expectations and a coaching cadence.
· Operate a matrix for BAs (delivery management under AVP; functional direction with Consulting) to ensure configuration quality and predictable throughput.
· Delivery Governance & Methods
· Define and enforce standardized delivery methodology, stage gates, SteerCo cadence, and performance metrics.
· Drive continuous improvement and automation in delivery processes, tools, and client communications.
· Portfolio & Risk Management
· Own portfolio planning, resource allocation, and delivery prioritization.
· Implement RAID logs, portfolio risk heatmaps, and RYG thresholds; run an Early-Warning policy (surface bad news early).
· Product Engineering & Enhancements
· Run the enhancement intake/governance process: triage, negotiate scope/priority and SLAs (time-to-decision, time-to-delivery), publish weekly status, and hold both sides to commitments.
· Institute Fit/Gap & Risk/Decision Logs; enforce a COTS-first policy and formal change-control triggers.
· Commercial & Delivery Financials
· Enforce time-tracking accuracy, utilization targets, SOW variance control, and change-order conversion.
· Ensure high project profitability through effective and efficient resource utilization, inclusive of Zycus and partner resources.
· Cross-Functional Orchestration & Customer Outcomes
· Collaborate with Sales and CS for clean kick-off and smooth transition to BAU Support.
· Co-own account escalations with VP PS and CCO; run a weekly exec escalation review and publish an aging report.
· Deliver to core KPIs: Time-to-Value, On-time/On-budget/On-quality, CSAT/NPS, and documented Business Value.
