Zycus is seeking a dynamic Global Events & Marketing Leader to lead Horizon, our premier global procurement event, along with other strategic field events. In this high-impact role, you will own the complete event lifecycle — from initial recee of marquee venues and contract negotiations with hotels, AV partners, and Destination Management Companies (DMCs) to speaker management and post-event ROI analysis.
Beyond event execution, this leader will also drive analyst relations and customer marketing initiatives, ensuring that Horizon amplifies customer success stories, strengthens referenceability, and positions Zycus as a trusted partner with both clients and leading industry analysts. You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Leadership to curate a world-class agenda, bring in high-value speakers, and design integrated marketing campaigns that maximize engagement, networking, and business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Strategy & Venue Management:
- Conduct recee of marquee venues that align with Horizon’s prestige and positioning.
- Lead contract negotiations with hotels, DMCs, AV vendors, and production houses.
- Build and manage vendor relationships, budgets, and timelines for flawless delivery.
2. Delegate, Speaker & Content Management:
- Collaborate with Sales, BD, and Leadership to secure high-caliber speakers and delegates.
- Manage speaker communications, briefing kits, travel, and hospitality.
- Shape the event agenda with Product Marketing and industry experts.
- Oversee creation of collaterals: agendas, invitations, bios, signage, on-site branding.
3. Marketing & Campaign Execution:
- Drive digital, social, and email campaigns to maximize registrations and visibility.
- Partner with creative teams to produce microsites, promotional videos, and social assets.
- Track campaign performance and optimize for ROI.
4. Customer Marketing & Advocacy:
- Develop and execute customer engagement and advocacy programs linked to events.
- Showcase customer success stories, go-live celebrations, and testimonials at Horizon.
- Increase customer referenceability and build a structured reference library.
5. Analyst Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement and SaaS industry analysts.
- Position Horizon as a platform to showcase Zycus’ leadership in the Source-to-Pay domain.
- Drive analyst participation in sessions, panels, and post-event coverage.
6. On-site Leadership & Operations:
- Lead on-ground execution: registration, logistics, vendor management, and guest services.
- Troubleshoot in real-time for smooth delivery.
- Manage photography, videography, and content capture for post-event marketing.
7. Post-Event Activities & Measurement:
- Lead post-event communications including thank-you notes, surveys, and content distribution.
- Measure event ROI, report insights, and recommend improvements for future programs.
