About Certinal:

Certinal is a unified Consent & Compliance Platform that replaces paper-based consent, manual intake, and uncontrolled forms with a single, fully digital system built for enterprise organizations. It digitally captures patient consent, enables legally binding electronic signatures, and ensures compliance with major regulations including HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, SOC 2 Type II, DPDP, and CMS-0053-F, while integrating directly with EHR systems like Epic and Oracle Cerner.

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Market Research & Database Enrichment Intern to support our go-to-market and sales enablement efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into data, spotting patterns, and turning raw information into structured, actionable insights that directly support business development, partnerships, and outreach strategy.

You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and partnerships teams to research target accounts, enrich prospect databases, and help build a clearer picture of the market landscape Certinal operates in.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and enrich contact and account data (from event attendee lists, CRM exports, and other sources) with details such as company type, industry, title/seniority, and relevance to Certinal's offerings.
Classify companies and contacts as prospects, partners, or competitors based on defined criteria, flagging ambiguous cases for review.
Conduct market research on industry trends, regulatory developments (e.g., DPDP, data privacy regulations), and competitive positioning (e.g., e-signature and digital consent platforms).
Support post-event follow-up workflows, including organizing and enriching attendee lists for outreach.
Assist in maintaining accuracy and consistency of data within CRM/spreadsheet systems.
Help build and refine competitive battlecards and market landscape summaries.
Collaborate with sales and partnerships teams to understand data needs and translate them into structured research outputs.
Present findings in clear, organized formats (spreadsheets, summaries, or short reports) for internal stakeholders.

Eligibility:

Final-year student or recent graduate (B.Tech, MBA, or equivalent).
Any relevant prior internship experience

Duration & Benefits:

Internship duration: 3–6 months
Location: Bangalore (5 Days WFO)
Stipend: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000/month (based on profile)
Certificate and LOR on completion.
Opportunity for Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) based on performance.

Job Requirement

Required Skills & Competencies:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large datasets in Excel/Google Sheets.
Good research skills — able to quickly find, verify, and organize information from multiple sources.
Basic understanding of (or willingness to learn about) SaaS, enterprise software, or compliance/data privacy concepts.
Clear written communication skills for summarizing research findings.
Curiosity and a proactive attitude toward solving ambiguous or unstructured problems.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus but not required.
